BERU Group is the leading manufacturer of diesel cold start systems with an estimated world-wide market share of 40% for glow plugs. In the field of ignition technology for petrol engines BERU is one of the four major manufacturers in Europe. BERU sets on the expansion within automotive electronics focusing on comprehensive electronic systems solutions for the automotive industry. The company also produces sensor technology and ignition systems for the oil and gas burner industry. Almost all OE-manufacturers of automobiles, commercial vehicles and engines are BERU's customers. For the Aftermarket, BERU supplies all the well-known distributors and workshop operators. The company's headquarters are located in Ludwigsburg.

Products and Services
The range of products manufactured and marketed by Beru worldwide comprises around 3,900 different items, from spark plugs and glow plugs, ignition coils and cables to anti-interference units and flame starting systems for large diesel engines. In cooperation with the automobile manufacturers, this range is continually being extended and thus adapted to the prevailing market conditions. On an international scale, our customers include the most renowned manufacturers of automobiles and engines. In the field of glow plugs, Beru AG is the unchallenged market leader, with a world market share in excess of 40 per cent. With our branded products of original equipment quality, we also supply to the aftermarket trade.
